Purpose and the areas of support
The aim of the program is more transparent and effective system of justice. The expected outcomes of the Program are:

Improved efficiency of the court systems, including the development of systems for case handling;

Increased competence of actors within the Judiciary,

Improved access to justice, including for vulnerable persons (e.g. victims, minors, minorities),
-
Alternative dispute resolutions developed.
Selection of projects
The programme will be implemented based on four thematic modules corresponding to the intended results. The modules will consist of pre-defined projects implemented by agencies of the Ministry of Justice, which extent of competencies covers the activities planned for each project.
Pre-defined projects
Improving administrative capacities of courts, including computer systems
Beneficiary: Department of Computing and Court Registers
Norway grant: EUR 3 986 500
The project aims at facilitating and promoting access to justice, accelerating access to court registers, enabling communication between the party and the court via electronic way, and broader application of pleadings and court documents in electronic form. This will be achieved through creation of a centralized identity management system.
IT-archive centers for common courts – development of a court files management system
Beneficiary: Department of Computing and Court Registers
Norway grant: EUR 2 839 000
The aim of the project is to improve the efficiency of the judicial system, including the development of systems related to the conduct of court cases.
Modern methods of court management (the implementation)
Beneficiary: Department of Courts, Organisation and Judicial Analyses. The project will be implemented in partnership with the Norwegian National Courts Administration.
Norway grant: EUR 3 740 000
The aim of the project is to improve the efficiency of the judicial system and increasing the competences of the judicial system employees.
Strengthening the position of crime victims and support for witnesses in criminal proceedings
Beneficiary: Department of International Cooperation and Human Rights. The project will be implemented in partnership with the Norwegian National Courts Administration.
Norway grant: EUR 612 000
The aim of the project is increasing the number of crime victims that actively participate in judicial proceedings (especially so-called vulnerable individuals).
School education against legal exclusion

Beneficiary: Department of International Cooperation and Human Rights. The project will be implemented in partnership with the Norwegian National Courts Administration.

The objective of the project is to develop alternative methods of dispute resolution.
